Dell Competition Invites Schoolkids to Design Skins for Laptop

Dell are running a ‘back to school’ competition in the U.S., where consumers can personalize their new, built-to-order systems by having them design a skin, or cover, that can be adhered to the back of a notebook computer. The creator of the winning design will receive a $10,000 grand prize, an Inspiron(TM) notebook computer and their own personalized skin.

Contestants can submit design entries at www.dell.com/backtoschool. Dell’s product designers will judge all entries and choose the top 10 finalists. The winner will be determined by voters from across the country who will choose their favorite design online.
