MCPF 2006 to take place in Tampere

The Finnish Institute of Mass Customization and Personalization will hold their bi-annual forum on mass customization and personalization, MCPF 2006, in Tampere University on 28 November.

MCPF 2006 is organized as a side event of ICEB + eBRF, a joint conference on Emergent Business Phenomena in the Digital Economy.

MCPF 2006 is organized as a part of the activities of the MASSI research project, funded by the Finnish Funding Agency for Technology and Innovation (TEKES), Technology Industries of Finland (TT) and by numerous companies.

MASSI (Implementing mass customization strategies that utilize information and communication technology as a competitive advantage for Finnish industry) is a joint research and development effort of School of Economics and Business Administration at University of Tampere (KKK), Institute of Industrial Management at Tampere University of Technology (TETA), and the Finnish Institute of Mass Customization and Personalization (FIMCP).

The MCPF 2006 seeks to review the existing development in area of mass customization and personalization and to anticipate future direction in research and practice.
