Chris Anderson on Lego Factory Update
Chris Anderson, editor of Wired magazine and writer of ‘The Long Tail’ blog (and book), has posted observations about the new version of Lego Factory software.
Anderson describes how users now have to pay only for the pieces they use. Previously, pieces had to be purchased in sets. These sets often included pieces not required for the user’s design, and these surplus pieces pushed up the overall price.
