Yes I was wondering the same thing John. I am doing a children's book only 24 pages and don't really know if there would be a difference with quality between the two sites. I do see that createspae is less costly with shipping and book pricing. So I need to know who will I benefit from in the long run?

Eric, can you clarify what you mean by Lulu produces books 'more to your liking.' Is it a production quality issue you mean? Or more flexibility in sizing, etc....? I haven't published yet, and am weighing the two... I am more attracted to Lulu's method of publication (and sizes), but it appears that i will retain far more of the money generated from sales with CreateSpace. Interested in your or anyone's response to this...

CreateSpace has it's ups and downs as does LuLu.com. I utilize both services for various purposes. I find the books that LuLu produces far more to my liking so they are my publisher of choice in that arena. When it comes to DVD's and CD's however, I prefer to go with CreateSpace. It's all a matter of objective, my objective with the different medias can only be met with the different style of services that each company offers.

I prefer LuLu's book set up program and distribution/calculation methods over CreateSpace.
However, I prefer CreateSpace's DVD and CD setup methods over LuLu's.

Of course, it doesn't hurt to throw you media up on both and juggle the accounts.
