Some of Smart Furniture's modular shelving range
2005-03-29 - CHATTANOOGA, Tenn, USA: Custom furniture maker Smart Furniture unveiled their new website at the Global Shop 2005 exhibition. The new site allows retailers to create and order their own custom display and storage units. To demonstrate the versatility of the Smart Furniture(R) system, the company transformed the layout of their booth each day of the Global Shop Expo - all without the use of a single tool. Every morning before the show opened, Smart Furniture employees wreassembled their booth.
The website, which will have its official launch in the months to come after Global Shop, offers retailers a quick and easy way to design unique shelves, display units, fixtures - whatever their store demands. There's also a special section designed just for retailers, where they can browse an online catalog and photo gallery or use the SmartDesigner(TM) application to create their own Smart Furniture system.
"When customers visit smartfurniture.com, they will experience an entirely new web-based storefront with some amazing new design capabilities," said CEO Stephen Culp. "Our unique drag-and-drop SmartDesigner interface has been greatly improved to work more efficiently and provide even more customized solutions."
Located in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Smart Furniture, Inc. provides patented organizational, workspace and display solutions for customers in all 50 U.S. states and Canada via an award-winning web model at www.smartfurniture.com. The company says that its products save both company and customer three precious resources: time, space, and money.
Once an order is placed, the Smart Furniture components are delivered within 10 days or less. Smart Furniture assembly is a snap - components easily stack and connect without the use of tools. Then as merchandise or seasons change, retailers can reconfigure their Smart Furniture as needed, whether it's one display or an entire store layout. Due to the modular design of the components, retailers always have the ability to expand their displays and can quickly order more components online whenever necessary.
In addition to navigational enhancements, the website's look has been updated to reflect the company's simple and modern furniture solutions. Images throughout the website showcase the countless Smart Furniture configurations, including display units, shelves, fixtures, and storage systems.
"Whether you're a store planner for multiple retail locations or an individual store owner, our goal is to make the design and ordering process as easy and as user-friendly as possible," said Culp. "We are constantly looking for ways to create a better customer service experience. At Smart Furniture, there are no limits to what we are able to achieve for our customers."
