Configuration Solutions Turns In Strong 2004 Results

2005-05-09 - Kalamazoo, Mich., USA: Product configuration and selling solutions provider Configuration Solutions, Inc., has reported strong growth of sales, licensing fees and earnings for 2004. President and CEO Dale Colosky recently announced that the company's revenues grew by 34 percent in 2004 over 2003. He cited the addition of twenty new customers with multiple sites, and the company's expansion into new markets - including the automotive supply, mortgage sourcing and other business services industries - as the primary catalysts for growth.

Built on open architecture, Configuration Solutions' technology offerings are used by make-to-order and engineer-to-order manufacturers, automotive and business service companies.

"Our exceptionally strong performance in 2004 represents a significant milestone in our strategic plan to expand the markets for our unique configuration technology," states Colosky. "We have branched out from our historic base of providing advanced product configuration solutions for industrial manufacturers and are now helping our clients and business partners in the automotive and business services sectors to implement innovative configuration-related solutions. In the process of widening our marketing horizons, we have continued to develop broader and deeper functionality within our CS-Enterprise flagship suite of collaborative configuration applications."

As a result of its ongoing product development efforts throughout 2004, Configuration Solutions recently introduced CS-Enterprise v3.6, which provides greater speed, flexibility and ease of use through performance enhancements that can reduce product load times by 80 percent. The company has also developed new functional applications such as CS-Expert, CS-Publish, CS-Vue, and CS-Automotive, as well as a newly launched Web site offering complete details on CS-Enterprise applications.

Colosky attributes a portion of Configuration Solutions' success in 2004 to the company's external reseller partner channel, which currently includes Glovia International (a subsidiary of Fujitsu), Intuitive Manufacturing Systems and RightLoan Corporation. "Our reselling partners make it possible to provide clients with a one-stop-shop for quality ERP and business service software to maximize business efficiencies and optimize supply chain and service performance--while also bundling in our software's powerful capabilities for make-to-order manufacturing, engineering collaboration, and service configuration," says Colosky. Over the past year, the company has also added resources to strengthen its direct sales force.

"Configuration Solutions now offers the most comprehensive suite of collaborative configuration software for the enterprise, regardless of product or service complexity, selling requirements, or business and operating environments. As the demand for value-added applications increases, we are seeing a growing demand for services, especially from reseller partners who continue to rely on us for implementation services and turnkey installations. As a result, we are well positioned to build on the momentum generated in 2004 and anticipate outstanding results during this year as well," Colosky concludes.
