ThyssenKrupp Elevator streamlines order process with Cameleon Advanced Selling from Access Commerce

Orders are processed four times faster and productivity of design engineers has increased by 300%.

2004-06-25 - Chicago, Illinois, USA and Toulouse, France: Access Commerce (EURONEXT: 7424) has announced that ThyssenKrupp Elevator Manufacturing France, a wholly-owned subsidiary of ThyssenKrupp Elevator, has implemented Cameleon Advanced Selling Solutions for both direct sales and reseller channels. ThyssenKrupp Elevator's main objectives were to streamline their order process and provide resellers with greater independence in ordering catalog-based products.

Streamlined order process

Any elevator order within the ThyssenKrupp Elevator Manufacturing France division - whether it is for new elevators, components or spare parts - is now captured within Cameleon Advanced Selling Solutions. ThyssenKrupp products- catalogs and specific items - are now available online via an advanced catalog that includes robust product configuration and order entry capabilities. With Cameleon, the company has been able to improve order accuracy, reduce "quote-to-delivery" cycle times and streamline elevator manufacturing processees.

Cameleon Channel Selling was also selected by ThyssenKrupp Elevator to provide an online catalog of both new elevators and spare parts. 250 resellers are now able to access the company's products and order online 24 x 7. With the addition of a spare parts catalog, partners are able to build their own elevator from scratch without engineering involvement. This enables ThyssenKrupp Elevator to guarantee delivery within 4 weeks. "This was totally unthinkable without Cameleon.
